Overview

Surveying Equipment is a hullmod that can be installed on any ship to provide surveying costs reductions.

This hullmod is a Logistics Hullmod. It impacts campaign layer fleet stats and can only be installed while at a dock. It can be removed at any time. Ships are limited to 2 such logistics hullmods at any one time. (S-mods do not count toward this 2 limit)

Notes

  • Built-in hullmod on the Shepherd, Apogee & Venture
  • Also available to be learnt as a modular hullmod
  • The Makeshift Equipment Skill reduces heavy machinery/supplies required for surveying by 50%; this is calculated before the hullmod.
  • Even without the skill, about 100 total reduction from Surveying Equipment should be enough to hit the cost floor in most cases.
