Can be used to close the gap for ships with 300/240 degree arc e.g. Monitor, Sunder, Eagle to make Salamander_MRM less annoying
Can be used in combination with Shield Conversion - Front to get 360 degree shield arc to some Hi-Tech ships e.g. Tempest, Medusa
It can find use cases for certain ships with small shield arc like the Conquest in providing better shield coverage.
