This is a deprecated feature no longer in common use

This can occur on salvaged ships and sometimes on pirate ships. It cannot be removed by restoring the ship and is a permanent loss to the ship.

Notes

This is a deprecated feature no longer in common use. Originally ships would not restore to the base hull, then later they would optionally restore to the base hull, before the feature was ultimately deprecated.
