Stabilized Shields is a hullmod that can be installed on any ship that has shields.

  • The 50% reduction is for the shield maintenance soft flux cost only. It does not reduce damage the shield takes in any way.
  • It is useful for ships that want to expand their available flux dissipation further after maximising flux vents.
  • This is particularly attractive for shield-tanking ships with a higher shield cost than the relative OP cost of vents. For example a frigate with more than 80 shield flux cost can effectively save 40 dissipation for a cost of 3 OP.
  • Some ships that benefits significantly from this are the Apogee and the Paragon.
