Description

Reduces the ship's phase cloak activation cost to zero. Increases soft flux dissipation and weapon recharge rate by 2x while phased.

When suffering critical damage that would otherwise destroy or disable the ship, it will initiate an emergency dive deep into p-space. The ships counts as having retreated and will emerge in normal space when combat is over, suffering an additional penalty to combat readiness equal to 1x of its deployment cost. The ship must have enough combat readiness to cover this cost to initiate the dive.

Due to the immense distortions in p-space caused by such a maneuver, only 1 ship per battle - regardless of which side it is on - can perform this.

Useful for Phase ships that runs weapons that takes time to recharge, e.g. Phase Lance.
Being at a low CR level may make the escape mechanics unable to function as intended. Ships that cost a lot of CR to deploy such as SUPER REDACTED may be more susceptible to this.
