Description
Increases maximum cargo capacity by 30/60/100/200, depending on hull size, or by 30%, whichever is higher. For civilian-grade hulls, also increases maintenance supply use by 50%.
S-mod bonus: Doubles the cargo capacity increase and, for civilian hulls, negates the maintenance cost increase.

Overview

Expanded Cargo Holds is a hullmod that can be installed on any ship.

This hullmod is a Logistics Hullmod. It impacts campaign layer fleet stats and can only be installed while at a dock. It can be removed at any time. Ships are limited to 2 such logistics hullmods at any one time. (S-mods do not count toward this 2 limit)

• Available from the beginning as a modular hullmod
• Notable uses on combat freighters, where the 30% addition is often higher than the hull size bonus also without incurring the Civilian-grade Hull related maintenance malus
• Militarized subsystems on a civillian hull will remove the +50% maintenance penalty.
