A Waystation is a structure. It can be built on any Colony with a Spaceport or Megaport.
Construction
A Waystation costs 100,000¢ to construct and has a build time of 60 days.
It will refund 75,000¢ when shut down.
Upkeep
Waystations have a base upkeep of 1,000¢ * (colony size - 2).
Effects
- Provides +10% accessibility to the colony.
- Causes the colony to begin to stockpile Fuel, Supplies, Crew, Volatiles and Transplutonics into the colony's Resource Stockpiles.
Production
Waystations do not directly produce any commodities, though they do stockpile Fuel, Supplies, Crew, Volatiles and Transplutonics while the structure's demands are met. Note that the demand reduction from AI Core usage won't effect this.

AI Cores
Waystations receive the following perks from the assignment of an AI Core:
- Gamma: reduces demand by 1 unit, increases Pather interest & Hegemony interest by 1.
- Beta: reduces demand by 1 unit, reduces upkeep by 25%, increases Pather interest & Hegemony interest by 2.
- Alpha: reduces demand by 1 unit, reduces upkeep by 25%, greatly increases stockpiling rate and limits, increases Pather interest & Hegemony interest by 4.
Additional Buffs
A Story point Improvement increases accessibility by an additional 20%.
