Light Industry produces the following commodities:
- Domestic Goods: equal to colony size
- Luxury Goods: equal to colony size - 2
With Free Port enabled, it also produces:
- Recreational Drugs: equal to colony size - 2
Demands
Light Industry demands the following commodities:
- Organics: equal to colony size
A shortage of Organics will reduce production of all goods by the amount equal to the shortage.
AI Cores
Light Industry receives the following benefits when paired with an AI Core:
- Gamma: reduces demand by 1 unit, increases Pather interest & Hegemony interest by 1.
- Beta: reduces demand by 1 unit, reduces upkeep by 25%, increases Pather interest & Hegemony interest by 2.
- Alpha: reduces demand by 1 unit, reduces upkeep by 25%, increases production by 1 unit, increases Pather interest & Hegemony interest by 4.
Additional Buffs
In addition to Alpha Cores, Biofactory Embryo can be installed on habitable planets, which will increase production by +2 and increase Pather interest by 4.
You can also invest Story Points once per Light Industry to increase production by +1.
With the Luddic Majority market condition, production can be increased by +1/+2, though it will also attract Unwanted Attention.
