–In-Game Description

The Minipulser is a small hybrid kinetic weapon, it can be fitted on both ballistic mounts and energy mounts and receive double the bonus from the Ballistics Rangefinder hullmod.

The Minipulser excels on high-tech hull designs as they generally lack viable weapons to deal kinetic damage outside of missiles due to their dependency on energy weapons. On low-tech hulls, the Minipulser is less effective, due to their high OP cost of 8 and limited range, the Light Needler not only serves the same role but also has superior range.
