A dual-mount of the Light Needler with a heavier base, this advanced weapon system is capable of overwhelming shield projectors very quickly.

The Heavy Needler is an advanced weapon that fires small flechette rounds. An improvement upon the Light Needler, it features better feed and cooling systems, which enable even greater fire rates. Projectiles are identical to the light version, caseless ammunition tungsten-jacketed flechettes.

The Heavy Needler is a premium medium kinetic weapon, an intermediate between the Light Needler and the Storm Needler.

Notes

The most expensive medium ballistic weapon in the game, but also the one with the best anti-shield capability. The Heavy Needler has greater accuracy than the Heavy Autocannon, and more DPS, more flux efficiency and a faster turn rate than the autocannon or the Hypervelocity Driver. Its burst lets it front-load damage, and its fast projectiles are much harder to evade than those of its medium kinetic peers.
