Eos Exodus is a Luddic Church system with an additional Independent market.

Eos Exodus, White Dwarf

Eos Exodus
The beginning of the end for most stars, the white dwarf was once a red giant not massive enough to fuse carbon. Extremely dense and slowly radiating away its heat as it no longer undergoes fusion reactions, its volume is supported against gravitational collapse only by electron degeneracy pressure.

–In-Game Description

  • Center of the Eos Exodus System

Phaosphoros (Eos Exodus I), Gas Giant

Eos Exodus I: Phaosphoros
Anomalously close to its parent star, this gas giant probably formed in the outer system and later migrated inward due to a chance encounter with some rogue cosmic mass. Primarily composed of hydrogen and helium gasses, the temperature and pressure at the core are extreme.

–In-Game Description

  • Planetary Conditions
Volatiles abundant.png
Abundant Volatiles: Abundant volatiles may be economically extracted from Phaosphoros.
+1 production (Mining).
Hot.png
Hot: High temperature conditions of Phaosphoros necessitate specialized equipment to perform normal operations, complicating life support and infrastructure.
+25% hazard rating.
Gravity high.png
High Gravity: The force of gravity on the surface of Phaosphoros is crushingly high. Humans require powered exoskeletons for regular movement and find even basic actions exhausting. Continual habitation is grueling at best. All operations take place with a heightened danger of falls and - if specialized engineering is not performed with adequate paranoia - structural collapse.

Lucifer (Eos Exodus I-A), Volcanic World

Eos Exodus I-A: Lucifer
A geologically unstable planet without a permanently formed crust. Glowing fissures and active volcanoes litter the surface, the magma they spew forth combining to form flows that travel hundreds of kilometers across the charred surface.

–In-Game Description

  • Planetary Conditions
Rareore abundant.png
Abundant Rare Ore Deposits: Abundant transplutonic deposits lay within the crust of Lucifer, enough to fuel the ambitions of any worthwhile warlord or magnate.
+1 transplutonic ore production (Mining).
Ore ultrarich.png
Ultrarich Ore Deposits: Mineral wealth exists on Midas-touched Lucifer beyond the wildest fantasies of the legendary mining megacorps of the Domain era.
+3 ore production (Mining).
Atmosphere dense.png
Dense Atmosphere: The surface of Lucifer is shrouded in a thick atmosphere, turbulent vortices at its crown and cloying soup at its lowest foothold. Sensors are impaired, and operations must be made with care.
+50% hazard rating.
Tectonic extreme.png
Extreme Tectonic Activity: Lucifer's crust roils chaotically with extreme quakes and cataclysmic volcanism events. Any operations will require exceptional care and use of many-times redundant warning systems so that the worst dangers can be avoided. Construction on this world can only ever be considered semi-permanent.
+50% hazard rating.
Hot extreme.png
Extreme Heat: Extreme heat necessitates specialized equipment and protocol to safely operate on Lucifer, seriously complicating logistics, life support, and long-term stability of infrastructure.
+50% hazard rating.

Tartessus (Eos Exodus II), Arid World

Eos Exodus II: Tartessus
Seat of the local branch of the Luddic Church and economic center of the system. The quiet cosmopolitan centers of Tartessus housing the Eos Exodus Curia are clustered around calm, warm seas. The world's population is dominated by Luddic practitioners of various sects and, while large, is mostly rural and agrarian, eking out a generally devout existence through subsistence farming and export of handcrafts.

–In-Game Description

An old, dry world that has a much smaller percentage of water in its atmosphere than terran standard. No active plate tectonics; highly eroded mountains and silted shallow seas. The atmosphere and magnetic field protect the surface from stellar radiation. The most accessible mineral resources were mined in a flurry of rapacious industrialism shortly after discovery.

–Secondary Description

  • Planetary Conditions
Population07.png
Population: Tartessus is a world of tens of millions.
Farmland adequate.png
Adequate Farmland: A robust terran-compatible biosphere allows agricultural cultivation to take place on Tartessus.
No bonuses or penalties to food production (Farming).
Ore sparse.png
Sparse Ore Deposits: A few sparse ore deposits exist here, but they are more of academic than industrial interest for their extraction is barely economical.
-1 ore production (Mining).
Organics trace.png
Trace Organics: Tartessus is nearly barren of organics reserves, though some extraction is possible.
-1 organics production (Mining).
Habitable.png
Habitable: Human beings can survive unprotected exposure to the surface conditions of Tartessus.

    • Population & Infrastructure: The basic infrastructure required to support a given population, from rickety orbital hab-modules to megacities and everything between.
Tartessus is a world of tens of millions.
    • Spaceport: Facilities for loading and unloading cargo and performing basic starship repairs. A colony without a spaceport is virtually inaccessible to interstellar trade.
    • Farming: Agriculture is a trade and technology as old as civilization itself; for thousands of cycles Humanity has harnessed the power of natural, modified, and artificial biological machines for sustenance. So it has always been, so it shall be so long as humans are human.
    • Light Industry: Produces domestic and luxury goods. One of the few industries relatively unaffected by the Collapse due to its low-tech nature.
    • Orbital Station - Low Tech: A low-tech space station, featuring heavy armor and medium firepower. Must be reduced before invasions or bombardment can be attempted.
    • Heavy Batteries: Armoured subsurface batteries supplement a dispersed network of small, hidden weapon installations. Ground-based batteries are capable of truly awesome firepower, though it only manifests by making ground operations more difficult, as no starship captain would be foolish enough to get within their firing envelopes.

Makeshift Sensor Array

Makeshift Sensor Array
Built using the best technology available in the Sector, a makeshft sensor array is nonetheless capable of passively monitoring the entire star system and has a transmitter capable of real-time, faster-than-light data transmission to friendly fleets within. The data is useful to supplement the regular sensor readings made by fleets.

Baetis (Eos Exodus II-L4), Barren Bombarded World

Eos Exodus II-L4: Baetis
A dwarf-planet from the outer system captured in the L4 of Tartessus, clouds of volatiles evaporate from the battered surface of this world. The weathered infrastructure left from the initial colonization of the system has been re-settled by a lively population of out-of-system nonbelievers and dissidents exiled from Tartessus. The spaceport itself operates under a military administration sponsored by the Knights of Ludd, who collect tithes from commercial activity.

–In-Game Description

Ad-holos sprout around the landing bays proclaiming joyful, tasteless wickedness available for travelers who wish to decompress, for even here the moral framework of the Church rules, albeit profitably inverted. Even the Faithful benefit, for those who do visit here on business or proselytization can make a great demonstration of denying the fleshpots of Baetis.

–Secondary Description

  • Planetary Conditions
Population05.png
Population: Baetis is home to hundreds of thousands of people.
Volatiles plentiful.png
Plentiful Volatiles: Baetis is a world-sized wellspring of volatiles - rich, deep, and potent.
+2 volatiles production (Mining).
Atmosphere thin.png
Thin Atmosphere: A rarefied atmosphere clings determinedly to Baetis' surface.
+25% hazard rating.
Gravity low.png
Low Gravity: Gravity is exceptionally low, though significantly above zero-g, on the surface of Baetis. Workflow and operation of (relatively) heavy machinery is complicated by the non-standard procedures required to deal with altered conditions of friction, weight, and pressure dynamics.
+25% hazard rating.

    • Military Base: These facilities enable force projection between star systems. Any such military undertaking is a massive logistical operation requiring coordination of dozens, perhaps hundreds of star ships and thousands of officers, crew, and soldiers.

Hesperus (Eos Exodus III), Rocky Ice World

Eos Exodus III: Hesperus
An ice-world with a thin, cold atmosphere, industrial terraforming of the planet was halted around the time of Luddic takeover of the Eos Exodus system. Virtue may be found in hardship and the Knights embrace this hardship in the martial monastic communities scattered on the surface of Hesperus. Limited organics mining is permitted with contracts awarded exclusively to the Faithful. The administration of Ceyx and Hesperus is shared in the office of a single Presbyter Orbis.

–In-Game Description

Monasteries cling to particularly sublime rifts and promontories of volcanic shields and the occasional pluton that's forced itself through the world-wrapping crust of ice. These forbid outside visitors - particularly the unfaithful - without dispensation of the knights. However, by authority of the reigning Presbyter Orbis, a number of special economic zones on the shifting ice floes transmit civilian landing beacons to call outside traders to port.

Ceyx (Eos Exodus III-A), Barren-Bombarded World

Eos Exodus III-A: Ceyx
A captured dwarf planet which holds the largest concentration of military facilities in the Eos Exodus system. The Knights have appropriated and extended vast subsurface ship facilities, armories, barracks, and all the training, administration, and housing facilities one would expect of the home of the Luddic Armada. The administration of Ceyx and Hesperus is shared in the office of a single Presbyter Orbis.

Daedaleon (Eos Exodus III-B), Irradiated World

Eos Exodus III-B: Daedaleon
Site of a former research base operated by the Tri-Tachyon Corporation, a massive containment failure released a highly energetic and seemingly self-sustaining process or object which melted into the crust leaving a plume of strange radiation which spews exotic particles to this day. The moon is abandoned of all human activity but for a network of orbiting hazard beacons maintained by the Knights of Ludd.

Hesperus Relay

Hesperus Relay
A Domain-era technology used primarily on the frontier, this is a hyperwave communications array which transmits and receives data between star systems at faster-than-light speeds. The rapidly pulsing hyperwaves suitable for FTL data transmission have been shown to damage DNA so these relays are always stationed away from habitats.
