Remote Survey

	Coordinates the fleet's active sensor network to perform a preliminary survey of all unsurveyed planets within 10000 units. Increases the range at which the fleet can be detected by 5000 units and brings the fleet to a near-stop as drives are powered down to reduce interference.

Remote Survey is a campaign ability. It is unlocked by unlocking the Makeshift Equipment skill.

The ability allows the fleet to perform a preliminary survey of all planets within range (10000 units). This scan reveals the hazard rating of all scanned planets, as well as any hazard conditions. This survey does not reveal the presence of ruins or resources.

Conflicts

While active, Remote Survey prevents the activation of and interrupts any of the following fleet abilities;

• Go Dark
• Active Sensor Burst
• Emergency Burn
• Sustained Burn
• Interdiction Pulse
• Neutrino Detector
• Transverse Jump
