Equipment Caches are 1 of the 3 types of common caches. Like other caches, they can be found orbiting stars, planets, asteroids, and floating in the middle of empty space in a star system.

Lootwise-wise, equipment caches offers higher amounts of Heavy Machinery & Transplutonics. They can also drop hullmod specs, ship Blueprints & blueprint packages. On rarer occasionally a Beta Core or a Gamma Core can be found, along with ship hulls that can be recovered.

The minor variant will drop lower amounts of loot, evidently, and will also give some supplies & fuel.
