Render order

This render order is more accurately which objects are displayed on top of or below other objects. From top to bottom:

  • large turret
  • medium turret
  • small turret
  • any deco weapon in a turret slot with "render bellow all weapons" tag
  • large hardpoint
  • medium hardpoint
  • small hardpoint
  • any deco weapon in a hardpoint slot with "render bellow all weapons" tag
  • modules
  • ships

Then if two weapons of the same size overlap, the one closer to the pivot of the ship will be drawn on top of the one farther away

Note that there are also some render hints (renderHints) in the .wpn file
