Station mining00.png
An abandoned mining station, once a source of wealth and industry to feed the worlds and works of humanity. A cursory scan indicates that it has been cold and dead for tens of cycles at the very least, possibly hundreds. Closer inspection may yield salvage.

–In-Game Description

Mining Stations are salvagable derelict structures, most commonly found in asteroid formations, mainly belts.

They usually contain high amounts of Ore & Rare Ore, and can also provide Supplies, Fuel, Metals & Heavy Machinery, and various other loot.

Hullmod Specs and Gamma Cores & Beta Cores AI Cores may also be salvaged.

They can also rarely provide Special Colony Items.

It is highly recommended to salvage the debris field left behind as it shares a similar drop pool, allowing the player to potentially obtain the aforementioned rare loot.

Notes

  • A minimum of 230 Crew & 80 Heavy Machinery are required to salvage a mining station.
  • Occasionally a mining station will drop a copious amount of Ore, going over 100,000+ in quantity.
