Tips and strategies

Damagetype energy.png The following section contains user-submitted suggestions, these may be inaccurate or outdated.

Although the Lux stats may look average for a fighter, what really makes it shine amongst other fighters is their No Weapon Flux built-in hullmod and IR Pulse Laser (High Delay) mounted weapon, allowing it to continuously put out ordnance while being under fire by point-defense. A single squadron can take out lone frigates, and more can overwhelm larger ships long enough for bombers to arrive and deliver a finishing blow, so don't underestimate it when fighting the Remnants. Recommended to use it with the Heron for optimal usage.

Alternatively, one can take the "Box full of bees" approach by spamming out the battlefield using Lux wings. This is particularly effective when used against single targets. But less effective than Claw Fighter Wing in the same role. Nevertheless thanks to lack of crew needed to pilot they are preferrable for a captain who treats fighters as disposable munitions to be sent into the enemy.
